SB 326 (California Balcony Inspection Law)

SB 326 requires HOA-managed condominium buildings (3+ units) to undergo mandatory inspections of exterior elevated elements (EEEs) such as balconies, decks, and stairways. These inspections identify structural issues and moisture damage to ensure safety and compliance. Inspections must be performed by a licensed professional every nine years, with the HOA responsible for any necessary repairs.
